Please read our Terms & Conditions before making your purchase.

All Purchases should be made payable to Elegance Designer Wear in Pounds Sterling. We accept all major credit cards Visa, Mastercard, Switch/ Maestro & Delta,  Cheques & Postal Orders. Cheques will be cleared before dispatching your purchase.

All orders are subject to Acceptance & Availability and we reserve the right to decline any order.

You can buy safely and securely online by just adding the item of your choice to the shopping cart and proceed through the checkout.

You place the order for your products by pressing ‘confirm’, in doing so you offer to buy the Goods at the prices indicated
All orders placed on the Elegance website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions
The following is required to create a contract between you and us
Once we have accepted your order it becomes binding, subject to your rights of cancellation.
Non-acceptance of an order by us will occur if the ordered product is unavailable or discontinued
we identify a pricing or product description error or we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment

An order acknowledgement email will be sent to you detailing the products you have ordered.
Please note this email is merely an acknowledgement of your order and not an acceptance or confirmation of your order with Elegance
The majority of our dresses are dispatched within 48 hours, but for gowns out of stock, or items that have to be ordered please allow more time for delivery.
We will confirm orders with you either by E-mail or telephone
To avoid dissapointment please order your gown well before your special event, to allow time for delivery and alterations

Occasionally some items may take longer than others but we will always keep you informed on the progress of your order
By making a request/order you are offering to purchase a product which we will accept to sell to you on the following terms and conditions
All requests are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price by us
Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees warranties or representations made as to delivery times are limited to mainland UK
We are not responsible for any delay in delivery occurring due to postal delays

We do ship all over the world, if your country is not listed please contact us for the delivery charge
IMPORTANT FOR INTERNATIONAL BUYERS=Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches the destination country. The charges are the buyers responsibilty to pay this. You may want to contact your local customs office for more information


We hope your delighted with your goods from Elegance however if you would like to return an item please fill in the returns form in the returns section at the bottom of the home page.
Before returning an item, we must be notified of your intention to return or exchange an item within 48 hours of you receiving this. Items are to be returned within 7 days. If we receive after this time, then the goods will be sent back to you

Please note text messages are unexceptable
You will be then issued a returns number, this needs to be written on the front of the package.
Any goods that are not accompanied by an official returns number will not be accepted and sent back to you
If you the Buyer fails to inform us the intention to return items so you the Buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods.

Postage & Packing costs are not refundable unless the item is faulty.
All items are checked for faults before leaving Elegance and suppliers
Items will be refunded or exchanged providing that the items are returned in a new unused condition

This means that the garment has not been worn, except to try on for fit and appearance
Items returned in an un-saleable condition - eg with tags missing,make up stains,alterations,signs of wear, damage, smelling of smoke, perfume, body odour or any other odour not associated with a new garment.

Please remove all jewellery before trying on items from Elegance so it does not catch the item in anyway.
When returning items please ensure the item is packed properly
We will be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed
The item is your responsibility until we receive it back
They should be in the same condition as when they arrived with the original packaging intact and tags attached

Please do not attempt to wear the item- We are not a hire service!!
Any goods subject to this evidence will be sent back to you.
Goods that are purchased in store at Elegance are non returnable and no refunds are given, as you have had the chance to try on for fit and appearance.
Please note that all Deposits are non-refundable.
Deposits that are held for dresses in store which you have choosen, that fit  at the time or need an alteration. Please note that you cannot change your mind once you have accepted this or dont fit you when you have paid the remainder balance.

Please note Jewellery items are non-returnable.

Sienna X products are non-returnable

If an item is returned the delivery charge will be deducted from the total
Once the garment has been received and inspected, a refund or exchange will be issued, subject to all conditions being satisfied.

There are no refunds for shipping and handling charges, unless it is a shipping error on our part.
It is the buyers responsibility to pay for postage costs for any returned items to us.
We are not responsible for returned items that do not reach us and would advise that all returned items are sent by Royal Mail Special/Recorded Delivery or similar

Refunds will be made within 2 working days of the receiving the item back excluding the post & packing charge
Please allow another 5-10 working days for the refund to be credited to your account the amount of time this takes will depend on which bank or card issuer you are with. We have no control over this.

All returns must be postmarked and sent back to Elegance (Address below) within 7 days of receipt. If the item is postmarked past the 7 days allowed, or does not have the returns authorisation number, the return will be refused and the item will be sent back to the customer. All returns must be in the original box and must have the returns authorisation number writen clearly on the front of the box.

All returns will be posted at the customers expense. If you wish to exchange an item, then we will post out the exchange free of charge.
We recommend that you send your return/exchange via an insured carrier. We are not responsible for lost returns.

We reserve the right not to accept returns or exchanges that do not meet these conditions.

Swimwear Retuns In order for us to accept swimwear returns, it must me returned with all tags still attached. We will not accept items which have been stained or marked whilst trying on.Please take extra care when trying on garments if wearing fake tan and make up. For health reasons, we cannot accept returns of any swimwear which has the hygiene seal removed.
If we feel, beyond reasonable doubt,that the items have been worn, we will not accept returns of the goods

Special Order Products

Our delivery times for some special orders/made to measure are around 10-12 weeks. Delivery times are not guaranteed, but we do our best.
Special Orders/made to measure items can not be returned, after you have received them unless they have been inspected and confirmed as defective or not as ordered by a representative of Elegance Designer Wear.
It is your responsibility to check details and aspects of your order are correct and suitable for your requirements including size measurements, style and colour.
We do not accept responsibility of incorrect size measurements which are provided by you.

Special order items which are tried on at our premises for fit and appearance that are not in stock. This is then ordered in the customers size
We will telephone or email you when they arrive
We will only hold the item for 4 weeks after this time the item will go back into stock
Please note the deposit is non-refundable


UK Scottish highlands (postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA, PH, ZE), Northern Ireland, IOW, IOM. The shipping method used will depend on the weight of the gown. If the weight is over 2kg then shipping becomes more expensive
We may need to contact you to discuss shipping
Eire, Channel Isles & Rest of Europe. Rates applied at checkout based on weight of parcel

NEW USA FLAT RATE - We now ship any gown from here in the UK to the USA for £25
If the item is returned the correct delivery charge will be deducted

We are not responsible for in-correct delivery information provided by you the buyer
This includes goods that have been sent to a different location
Example wrong postcode or in-correct delivery address provided by you the buyer and have been signed for at the wrong address

Please make sure before you purchase items on the Elegance website you provide the correct delivery information
Please note we only post to the cardholders address and cannot accept oders to PO Box numbers,Temporary accommodation, work premises or hotels. We are not responsible for items that are not sent to the buyers billing address and want them sent to work places.

Please note we can only offer the payment plan for items in stock and items that are tried on for fit and appearence in store, unless we approve otherwise.

Gift Vouchers.
On occasions we do give free gift vouchers . The vouchers are not available for sale items on line or at the Elegance store. The voucher is for items over £150.00.
